1. Acceptance

By using this website or engaging StudioTechX for services, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Website content

Content on this site is provided for general information. Pricing indications, timelines, and capability descriptions are illustrative and are confirmed only in a written proposal for your specific project.

3. Intellectual property

The studio name, logo, written content, and imagery on this site belong to us. For client work, ownership of custom code, designs, and content transfers to you on full payment, excluding third-party components which remain under their own licences and any reusable internal tooling we bring to a project.

4. Client responsibilities

Delays in approvals or content shift the schedule accordingly; we will always confirm the revised dates in writing.

  • Provide content, assets, approvals, and access in a timely manner.
  • Nominate one decision-maker who can approve work on your behalf.
  • Ensure you hold the rights to any text, images, or data you supply.
  • Keep credentials we hand over secure, and inform us of changes that affect the system.

5. Scope and change requests

Each engagement has a written scope. Minor refinements are absorbed into the current cycle. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and starts only after written approval.

6. Payment terms

  • Projects usually run on milestone payments, beginning with an advance to reserve delivery capacity.
  • Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice.
  • Hosting, support, and retainer plans are billed in advance for the period.
  • Work may be paused on overdue accounts after written notice.

7. Third-party services

Projects may rely on third-party platforms such as payment gateways, messaging providers, map services, or app stores. Their availability, pricing, policies, and review decisions are outside our control, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

8. Warranty and support window

We correct defects in our own work free of charge for 30 days after launch. This does not cover new features, changes to agreed behaviour, issues caused by third-party changes, or edits made by others to code we delivered.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or lost data, beyond restoring from the most recent available backup where we manage the hosting.

10. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the purpose of the engagement. We will not name you publicly as a client or show your project in our portfolio without your permission.

11. Termination

Either party may end an engagement with written notice. You pay for work completed and any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred; we hand over the work produced to that point.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Kerala having jurisdiction. Questions about these terms go to info@studiotechx.com.
